Owner of Tiktok,ByteDance introduced its first smartphone.

Tiktok-owned company Byte Dance has introduced its first smartphone. Rumors about this phone have been surfacing for months. The name of the phone is Jianguo Pro 3 and it has been made by a Chinese brand Smartisan but it has been released with Byte Dance name. Earlier this year, Byte Dance bought the property from Smartisan.

The association between hardware organization Smartisan and ByteDance goes back to late 2018 when the former was in a tough situation. In Jan. 2019, sources from Smartisan said that their agreement was moved to ByteDance. ByteDance's reaction later affirmed that it obtained some portion of Smartisan's licenses and staff.

The Chinese company announced in May this year that it intends to introduce a smartphone, and it was confirmed in July that the company will introduce the phone by the end of the year. Following this, the Chinese company introduced its first phone. This smartphone has initially offered for sale in China.

Jingo Pro 3 has a 6.39-inch Full HD + emulated display when viewed from the phone. It runs on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855+ processor and has a 4,000 mAh battery. It has 48 megapixels high-resolution camera and it can support up to 256 GB of external storage. It has 12GB of RAM and four cameras at the back which is quite good. The device also features an in-display fingerprint reader. In China, the price of the phone is 2899 yuan or 412$. The price is not too high because its a high-end phone.

At the back has a 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor for photography, 13MP wide-lens lens and a 8MP telephoto lens for photography. The smartphone has a 20MP front camera for selfies. So obviously this phone knows its photograph cherishing people. Jingo Pro 3 runs on Android-based SmartScan OS7 in terms of software. It also includes 4GLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type C port. The initial price of this smartphone has been set at 2,899 yuan. It will soon gain the attension of the people around the globe.

Specifications

  • Screen: 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display
  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+
  • RAM: 8/12GB
  • Rear camera: 48-megapixel primary sensor + 13-megapixel wide-angle + 8-megapixel telephoto + 5-megapixel macro lens
  • Front camera: 20-megapixel
  • Battery: 4,000 mAh
  • Software: Smartisan OS 7 (It’s unclear if this is based on Android, or actually a full Chinese fork of the Android OS – we’ll update this post once we learn more)

So this device is specially made for TIKTOK app so you can use TIKTOK in it without any issues plus PUBG in high graphics will work fine and it can run more heavy games thanks to its powerful processor and 12GB of RAM. The second best thing about this phone is its cameras which is more than amazing. Battery/Storage everything is great and we hope ByteDance will release more of its phones at affordable rates. Before you get too excited, it should be noted that the phone is only available in China for now.

You can legitimately open TikTok's Chinese adaptation, DouYin, by simply swiping up from the lock screen. Given the application's notoriety in India, I bet a lot of people in the country wouldn’t mind this kind of integration either. Since its launch in China in 2016, TikTok has amassed more than 500 million users worldwide.

Phone producers have attempted to incorporate social media applications previously. In 2010, Microsoft disclosed the Kin, with a home screen going about as an aggregator of Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and Windows Live. In 2013, HTC discharged a phone called The HTC First that had a layer of Facebook's own software over Android.

After knowing the features we can say its a great device at this price and they can beat big brands like Huawei & Samsung but they should release their device in the whole world or at least in Asia. At this time, we don’t know if the company is planning to release the phone anywhere else (out of China). We’ve contacted Bytedance for more details, and we’ll update the story if we hear back.
